We went to see some friends bands play a few days ago. Candy took lots of pictures on her blog but here is a video she made two years ago.

Book Club Meet Up

A friend of Candy's from one of her online bookclubs was in town and we went out for an evening with her. she was a real live wire and had had a "foodie weekend'. We talked about the bookclub, about living in NYC, about sisters, about more food and we took her to a neighbourhood place we like... Mixteco. She had been to see Anthony bourdain speak at the Chicago Theatre and to eat at "the best restaurant in North America" Althea. What a great evening. We also talked about how weird it is that people now take pictures of food.
