An Artist Friend Survives Haiti

Susan Frame, an artist and employee of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago went to Jacmel, Haiti a week ago. Sadfly, Sue's friend who she went to work with on an art project last week...did not survive the earthquake.

Deepest sympathies to her.

Is it just me or have we heard nothing at all from the government over there?

I'm assuming there is one as I know little about the place.

I don't know if its true but apparently the parliament buildings are destroyed and the government is unable to operate on any level...that might be why there hasn't been news from such officials in U.K.

I sure hope Sue is okay with a safe place to sleep...
