Upgraded!
When we checked into our hotel room in Memphis they upgraded us for Christmas. We had a whole living room, two tvs and kitchen on top of our regular room. Party like a rock star!

Beale Street is more than all right for me, Stag. I have warmed a seat in some of these places myself.
Even though I am aware that Levon Helm has issues with The Last Waltz, I love his monologue about Memphis in that movie. He explains so eloquently and concisely the history of this musical crossroads.
I have always preferred Stax/Volt over Motown.
lemme know if that clown got fresh witchyas ... I'll round up the Hamburglars & we'll give him what-fer!
