I love this movie. Mexicans in Chicago--along with the Italians and what no else. I am a little puzzled by the sign saying "Comida No Migra," but then a whole lot of things puzzle me.
I got the answer. Migra, which one will not find in most dictionaries, is slang for immigration authorities. I had to ask. "Comida No Migra" therefore means "Food, Not INS Agents." Roughly.

Cool Se'nor Steve! According to the internets Pilsen was once a whole Europe-ish 'hood and now over time has become almost all Mexican!
